プールで泳いでいても熱中症？水場に潜むリスク。

埼玉県では早くも最高気温39℃を超える猛暑日が出ています。日差しが暑いどころか痛いとまで感じるほど厳しい暑さです。30℃を切る日が無いほど暑くなってきているため、外で部活動などをしている方は熱中症に要注意です。
最近では、プールなどの水場にいても熱中症になるケースが出てきています。冷たい水に浸かっているのになぜ？と思いますよね。
まず、水泳は実はかなりの運動量があるため体温が上がりやすいです。体温が上がると汗をかき、身体の中の水分が減っていき喉が渇きます。しかし泳いでいる最中は水に触れているためのどの渇きを感じにくく、気が付いたら脱水症状になっていることがあります。その他、日差しを遮るものが少ないためプール周辺の気温が非常に高くなります。プールサイドが熱い＝周辺の気温がとても高いということです。
このように水の中にいても熱中症になるリスクはありますので、こまめな水分補給、日陰での適度な休憩をして体調を崩さないように気を付けましょう。
受験生にとってはこの夏は勝負なので、外で暑さに耐えながら遊ぶより涼しい屋内で勉強に勤しむ方が健康的ですよね。
