当たり前のことを当たり前にやることの大切さ
こんにちは！川口市の学習塾【個別指導塾KCE】の樫田です。
学校に通う＝集団行動をする、勉強をする、部活動をする…これらは当たり前にやらなければいけないこととして学校から命令されます。基本的に拒否権はありません。行動も勉強も部活も当たり前にこなせるようになれば学校生活に不満無く、大きな困難に陥ることもなく進学ができるでしょう。
学校生活のどこかで
「辛い、面倒くさい、やりたくない…」
と思うことでこの当たり前ができなくなり、周りと違う自分に引け目や負い目を感じ、道を逸脱してしまったり逃げたりしてしまいます。
昨今学歴は重要ではないといった意見や、やりたいことはやるべきだという意見が飛び交うようになりましたが、社会人として生きていくために必要なことが詰まった場所が学校です。学校で学ぶべきことを学び、自分の成長のために更に行動が必要だと思ったら進学以外の道を選ぶこともあるでしょう。しかし、ただ現実から逃れるためにこれらを理由にして道を踏み外してはいけません。まず人としての型を作り、土台を作ることから始めることが将来多様な道に進んでいくために必要です。
学校では集団行動や勉強や部活動を当たり前にやるのです。その先に必ず「やってよかった」ことが見えてきます。もちろん「これはやらなくてよかった」ということもあるでしょう。でもそれはやって初めて分かったこと。やりもせずに独断でやらない選択をすることは、失敗から学ぶという大きな成長ポイントを失います。言われたことを当たり前にやる。その先に初めて「自分がどうしたいか」のヒントが見えてきます。
