勉強を『した気になる』人の落とし穴
こんにちは！川口市の学習塾【個別指導塾KCE】の樫田です。
受験生に限らず、宿題をやったりテスト勉強をしたり日々勉強している人でも、定期テストや模試で結果が出ないということはよくあることです。あんなに勉強したのに、あんなに頑張ったのに何で？と思い挫折する。勉強をしているのに結果が出ず諦めてしまう方に敢えて厳しいことを言います。
あなたは本当の勉強をしていません。
勉強を『した気になっている』だけです。
全く机に向かわなかった生活から、毎日少しでも机に向かって勉強する時間を作った。それは素晴らしいことで、その積み重ねが成績アップや受験合格に繋がります。ですが、出された宿題の答えを写して終わり。テスト範囲のワークを一周解いて終わり。これは勉強をしたのではなく、課題をこなしただけです。何のために勉強をするのか、もう一度よく考えましょう。テストで点数を取るため、内申点を上げるため…なにより大事なことは、志望校に合格するためです。詰まるところ、
入試問題が解けない＝勉強をしていない
となります。どれだけ勉強した気になっても志望校に合格しなかったら、全く勉強せずに不合格になった人と同じなのです。
大事なことは問題が解ける力が付いているかどうか。それが出来て初めて『勉強した』と言えます。その他にも下記の事が出来ていれば勉強したと言えます。
・問題の解き方を自分の言葉で説明できる
・覚えた解き方がいつでも使える状態である
・完全に記憶に定着している
・人に教えられる
これが出来ない＝勉強していないと思い、出来るまでやりましょう。何も考えず時間をかけて量をこなすだけの中身のない勉強は止めてください。時間の無駄です。何度も言いますが、問題が解けなければ勉強したことにはなりません。勉強の本質を見失わず、出来る実感を持ちながら受験に向けて進んでいきましょう。
