勉強は将来何の役に立つ？
こんにちは！川口市の学習塾【個別指導塾KCE】の樫田です。
学生の皆さんなら三角形の面積の公式を覚えたり、古文を現代仮名遣いに直す方法を覚えた時に一度は疑問に思ったことがあるでしょう。
これって何の役に立つの？
大人になる為に必要だから！と学校の先生や両親に言われて勉強をしたものの、実際何に使うのか意味不明な公式や知識ばかりですよね。いざお父さんやお母さんに中学や高校の勉強を教わろうとしても、ほとんどの親が「わからない」と答えます。そうです、忘れているのです。じゃあやる意味ないじゃん！と言い捨てたくなる気持ちも自分がそうだった時代があるのでよくわかります。
目に見えるものが実際に使うか分からない知識ばかりなのでくすんでしまいがちですが、勉強で学んでいるのは大きく分けて次の3つ。
思考力（考える）
理解力（わかる）
記憶力（覚える）
です。極論この３つが鍛えられるなら学ぶ内容は何でもいいのです(言葉や簡単な計算は知る必要がありますが)。そしてこれらの能力は大人になって社会に出てから必要な力です。この3つの力がしっかり育っていると、将来何をするにも自分自身の力で道を切り開いていけるようになります。そのために学校で勉強しているのだと認識しましょう。
