どうしても勉強のやる気が起きない時は…
こんにちは！川口市の学習塾【個別指導塾KCE】の樫田です。
勉強をしなきゃいけないというのは分かっていてもやる気がでない。自分でもどうすることもできない状態にある生徒さんは少なくありません。机に向かっても教科書を開くまでが遠い。教科書を開いてもペンを持つまでが遠い。いざやり始めても集中力が続かない…。私にもそんな時代はありました。気持ちはよくわかります。昔はやることがないのでとりあえず勉強…という選択肢がありましたが、現代は情報化が進みスマホが普及したことで暇つぶしの道具に困らなくなりました。そんな状況で一番つまらない勉強をしろというのは無理がありますよね。
実は勉強は『教科書とノートを使って行う』という形を昔（戦後）から中々卒業できず、近年始まったタブレットを使った授業も、結局ノートを取ったりワークをやらされることになるのであまり変化を感じない。学校の勉強の仕方は時代の変化についていけていない遅れた文化なのです。それでは現代に生きる子どもたちに合わないのも無理はありません。
教科書ノートを使った勉強についていけないのであれば、今みなさんの手元にあるスマホを最大限活用して勉強に活かしましょう。
今やスマホを持っている人でYouTubeを見たことが無い人はほぼいないでしょう。そこにはありとあらゆるジャンルの動画が投稿されており、もちろん勉強に関する動画もたくさんあります。まずはそこで身近な疑問を検索してみましょう。例えば、
『地球はなんで丸いの？』
『昔の人はどうやってお互いの場所を把握してたの？』
『なんでお金が生まれたの？』
『風はなんで吹くの？』
『なんで0乗は1なの』
などなど…学校で習っていない、もしくは教えてくれないようなことは大抵ネット上で検索すれば答えが出てきます（最後のは教えてくれる先生もいるかもしれませんが）。そういった疑問に答える動画を投稿している人たちは何かしらの学問や研究に携わっている人が多く、理科や数学の分野の豆知識、地理や歴史の真実など面白い知識を教えてくれたりします。そういったところから自分の興味がある分野を見つけて、もっと知りたいと思えれば儲けものです。
難しい話はついていけないのでまずは基本から。そこで中学生の勉強が必要になってきます。例えば化学に興味を持ったとすると、理科の知識は勿論、計算も必要とするため数学の知識を学び、難しい日本語を理解するために国語を学び、英語が絡んでくるので英語を学び…といったように他の教科の知識も自然と身についてきます。
いきなり机に向かうことが難しいときは、スマホに色んな疑問を投げかけて自分の興味のあるジャンル探しから始めましょう。くれぐれも勉強に関係の無いジャンルに行き過ぎないように…。
